1998: Temporary stay in Ghana under ACRI and other activities that may be agreed by two governments 2000: Additional Agreement, separate from ACRI, for persons temporarily staying in Ghana as part of humanitarian aid operations in Southern Africa In 1993, countries concluded a SOFA.104 The agreement was extended on 19 September. 1994; 28 April 1995; and 29 November, 1 December and 8 December 1995. Countries concluded an agreement on the treatment of U.S. forces that visited the Philippines in 1998.105 This agreement was amended on April 11 and 12, 2006. The difference between this agreement and the sofa, originally concluded in 1993, is that this agreement applies to visits by US forces that are not stationed in the Philippines. The countries also concluded an agreement on the treatment of personnel of the Republic of the Philippines visiting the United States (counter-agreement).106 1956: Agreement on the status of the Us armed forces in Greece A SOFA, as requested in Article VI of the treaty, was concluded as a separate agreement under the 1960 treaty.84 The SOFA deals with the use of facilities by US forces. and the status of U.S. forces in Japan. The agreement has been amended at least four times since the original agreement85 The following sections offer a historical perspective on the inclusion of a SOFA as part of comprehensive bilateral security agreements concluded by the United States with Afghanistan, Germany, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines. Agreements may include a stand-alone SOFA or other agreements, including protection, usually related to a SOFA.
